Saadia, a wild Arab girl haunted by a local sorceress who convinces her she has the evil eye, is taken to a French doctor, Henrik, for rehabilitation. Both Henrik and his friend Si Lahssen, the town’s prince, fall in love with her. When a plague hits the town, Saadia feels responsible and rides alone into the mountains to retrieve a serum held by bandits, while the love triangle drives the rest of the drama.
