Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

The film opens with Chun Li reminiscing about her childhood aspirations of becoming a concert pianist. Growing up in San Francisco, her family relocates to Hong Kong, where she begins her piano lessons.

In Hong Kong, Chun Li's father, Xiang, a prominent businessman, also trains her in Wushu. This dual training refines her as both a pianist and a martial artist, setting the stage for her future confrontations.

One fateful night, Chun Li's home is invaded by Bison and his henchmen. Xiang bravely defends his family, but their courage is not enough to prevent Balrog from capturing young Chun Li.

In a tragic twist, Chun Li's mother intervenes during the chaos but is violently struck by Balrog. This brutal event marks a significant moment in Chun Li's troubled past.

Years later, Chun Li emerges as a gifted concert pianist, showcasing her talent on stage. After a performance, she receives a mysterious scroll with Ancient Chinese characters, hinting at her future.

On her way home, Chun Li witnesses an assault on a homeless man by thugs. She takes action after the incident, noticing a distinctive spiderweb tattoo on the man's hand, which becomes significant later.

Meanwhile, Xiang is shown as a captive working under Bison. He is given the rare privilege to see photos of his grown daughter, deepening the emotional stakes of their separation.

In her search for answers, Chun Li consults a wise elderly woman who interprets the scroll. The woman advises her to seek out a man named Gen in Bangkok, as she reveals an image resembling the tattoo.

Chun Li arrives in Bangkok and immediately faces danger, intervening in another alley assault. She showcases her martial arts skills with a powerful 'Bike Rack Drop Ultra', leading Gen to find her.

At Gen's home, he reveals to Chun Li that her father is held captive by Bison. Gen advises her to manage her anger as they plot to gather information on Bison's criminal activities.

Chun Li infiltrates a nightclub, seductively engaging with Cantana, one of Bison's secretaries, to extract vital information. She cleverly learns the location of Bison's prized 'White Rose' before making her escape.

A confrontation ensues at Gen's residence as Bison's henchmen attack. Chun Li successfully defeats Vega, showcasing her combat prowess despite the looming danger.

Chun Li tracks down the harbor to discover the arrival schedule for the 'White Rose'. However, she is captured and brought to Bison's headquarters, where she faces the devastating loss of her father, Xiang.

In a climactic battle, Chun Li confronts Bison, who initially overwhelms her. However, using her skills, she gains the upper hand and ultimately defeats him with a powerful Kikoken.

With Bison defeated, Chun Li returns home to a quiet life. Gen visits her, mentioning an upcoming Street Fighter tournament, but she chooses to take a break and rest for now.
