Brennan Huff lives with his divorced mother, Nancy, while Dale Doback resides with his widowed father, Robert. Both men have remained immature despite their adulthood, creating a backdrop of tension in their Separate households.

Six months later, Brennan and Dale have turned 'Prestige Worldwide' into a successful karaoke company. Meanwhile, Robert and Nancy have reconciled, returning home, reinforcing the notion that their eccentricities can lead to happiness.
