Starship Troopers: Invasion

Federation exoskeleton troops are deployed and Alpha Team lands on the asteroid Fort Casey. They immediately engage the Arachnids, pushing through the bug swarm to rendezvous with the surviving Fort Casey troopers.

The troopers plant charges to breach the hangar and create an exit route. They then push toward the starship John A. Warden for evacuation, hoping to extract the survivors before the base collapses under attack.

Minister of Paranormal Warfare Carl Jenkins seizes control of the Warden from Captain Carmen Ibanez, refusing to reveal his mission but claiming it could turn the war's tide.

Major Henry Varro is escorted to Alesia as a prisoner on Jenkins' orders, while his unit's fate mirrors the larger struggle against the bug on Fort Casey.

The Fort Casey defenses are overwhelmed by a relentless bug attack. Sniper Trig uses precision shots to thin the swarm and keep the troopers alive long enough to retreat.

Alesia docks for emergency evacuation and the surviving troopers are boarded. Trig is pulled into the ship just as Casey's asteroid is destroyed by the bug horde.

General Johnny Rico at L-6 Base orders Alesia to search for the missing John A. Warden, with the Fort Casey troopers insisting Varro lead the mission.

While en route, the Warden is hacked by the Queen inside its systems. Jenkins uses mind control to trigger a dangerous new capability, opening bulkheads and letting bugs swarm the boarding party.

The Queen manipulates the Warden to destroy Alesia and then pilots the ship into a wormhole that leads toward near-Earth space.

Trig navigates the ship's ventilation system, hunting the Queen as the parasite's control tightens its grip over the Warden's crew.

Rico deploys three Marauder-assisted ships to neutralize the Warden, but the Queen's control over its weapons defeats the assault and forces the defense base to reconsider its strategy.

The Queen attempts to crash the Warden into Paris, but Trig shoots the wires connecting the Queen to the ship, enabling Ibanez to steer the Warden toward a crash in a mountain range.

Rico leads a ground assault on the crash site while Mech and Ratzass blow the Warden's engine. Varro, rescued by Bugspray, reunites with the team as Jenkins reveals he can mind-control bugs to help capture the Queen alive.

Rico detonates a decisive strike, and in a frantic sprint, Varro is wounded; Rico uses a combat knife to cripple the Queen and buys Ibanez time to escape as the Warden is destroyed by the detonation.

In the aftermath, the surviving troopers pay respects to their fallen comrades. Jenkins proclaims that his research will someday save the galaxy, while one lone warrior bug crawls through the sewers, hinting the war may continue.
