Stargate: The Ark of Truth

SG-1 digs on Dakara and finds a box they believe contains the Ark of Truth. Daniel tricks the Ori soldiers into opening it, only to reveal a fake Ark. A Prior orders Tomin to kill them, but Tomin refuses; Mitchell kills the Prior, whose powers were blocked by the Anti-Prior device. The Ori soldiers surrender, and Tomin returns to Earth with SG-1.

The surviving team returns to Earth with Tomin and takes up residence at the SGC for a time. The encounter ends the initial Dakaran incident and shifts focus to Earth-based strategy against the Ori. Tomin begins integrating back into Earth’s defense planning.

General Landry and Mitchell meet James Marrick, an IOA representative, to interrogate Tomin. They explain Woolsey’s move to Atlantis and the Ark’s status remains unknown in the Ori galaxy. Marrick’s presence signals IOA involvement in the mission.

Daniel realizes the Ark is still in the Ori galaxy, and Marrick is assigned to accompany SG-1 aboard the Odyssey through the Supergate. The mission proceeds to recover the Ark and confront the Ori threat. The crew prepares for a dangerous journey into enemy territory.

In the Ori galaxy, a resistance member says the Ark is on Celestis. SG-1 beams down to Celestis to verify and locate it, while Marrick uses an Asgard computer core to alert the Ori to the Odyssey’s presence. The search intensifies as the team closes in on Celestis.

Marrick reveals his plan to weaponize a Replicator, using the power found on Celestis. He intends to plant it on an Ori ship so the Replicator can spread through their fleet. The IOA later acknowledges removing a weakness that could have prevented the threat.

The Replicator escapes and infests Marrick, turning him into a Human/Replicator hybrid. He is placed in the ship's brig, isolating him from the mission while the team deals with the broader threat. The Replicator threat remains a looming danger aboard the Odyssey.

With several Ori ships approaching, Mitchell attempts to beam Daniel, Teal'c, Vala, and Tomin up from the planet, but the Replicator blocks the system. The Odyssey jumps to hyperspace to escape, leaving the others behind on Celestis.

Daniel locates the Ark in a catacomb and brings it to the surface. The team is ambushed by Ori warriors in the city, and Teal'c is wounded. They are captured and taken to the Ori city, while Vala learns that the Ori were killed by the Sangraal and Adria has ascended.

Morgan le Fay, appearing as Merlin, arrives and explains a plan: exposing a single Prior to the Ark could weaken Adria enough to be opposed. If successful, the Priors would be vulnerable and more easily turned. The plan sets the stage for a pivotal confrontation.

A Prior arrives on Earth offering a last chance to convert to Origin. General Landry refuses to listen to the false prophet. The Apollo satellite detects a fleet of Ori motherships waiting at the edge of the Solar System, signaling an imminent invasion.

On the Odyssey, Marrick is attacked by Replicators who infest his body, turning him into a Hybrid. Mitchell disables the Replicator connection to Marrick’s brain and learns the shutdown code is on the other side of the crystal used to create them. He detonates an explosive to kill Marrick, and Carter activates the shutdown code to deactivate the Replicators.

The Ark is activated and opened, and the Doci is caught by the beam and shown that the Ori are not gods. He spreads this truth to all Priors in the Ori galaxy and beyond. SG-1 transmits the Ori knowledge to Priors across the Milky Way, turning many of them.

Tomin departs for the Ori galaxy as the new leader of his people, while Vala chooses to remain with the SGC. The Ark is taken to Area 51 for study, and SG-1 prepares for another mission through the Stargate.
