Spock and Dr. McCoy journey across Altamid, seeking to find the scattered crew members. Their exploration reveals cave inscriptions that connect to the Arbonath, hinting at the planet's deeper history and potential solutions to their plight.

The crew reunites and strategizes aboard the USS Franklin, now their key asset against Krall. They outline a daring plan to rescue their teammates and put an end to Krall's aggressive ambitions.
