Srinivasa Kalyanam

Srinivas and his sister Lakshmi lose their parents while saving their landlord Sridhar Rao. They fall under the care of their chronically drinking uncle Nagayya, who squanders their money and mistreats them. This early hardship sets the stage for their lifelong struggle to survive.

Nagayya's misdeeds force the siblings to flee his clutches. Saroja, Nagayya's daughter, helps them escape and takes steps to ensure their safety, even though she must leave soon after. The escape marks a turning point as they begin a new life elsewhere.

The siblings are taken in by a loving couple in the city who provide a stable home and new opportunities. Srinivas tries several jobs to support the family, and the siblings start building a fresh life away from their past. The city offers hope but also new challenges.

Srinivas works as a newspaper delivery boy, an auto driver, and eventually runs a dance school. He meets Lalitha, who is looking for a job, and they fall in love. Their bond grows amid his struggles and her aspirations.

Saroja changes her name to Swapna and arrives to rent Srinivas' house, unaware that he is her cousin. The two families collide, creating a tangled bond between them. This coincidence sows seeds for future revelations.

Lambodharam, a hotel proprietor and notorious womanizer, spots Lalitha during a dance program and becomes attracted to her. Nagayya, his assistant at Nisachara, watches the situation unfold with growing tension. The attraction complicates Srinivas's romance with Lalitha.

Soon after, Swapna discovers the crucial truth about her identity and her relationship with Srinivas, reigniting their childhood love. Lalitha's own feelings grow as she observes Srinivas and Swapna. The revelation raises the stakes for all three.

Lambodharam traps Lalitha's brother-in-law Venkatrao to win Lalitha. To protect her, Srinivas brings Lalitha home and declares his intention to marry her, briefly disrupting their plans. The danger intensifies as the wedding becomes a focal point.

Swapna sacrifices her own happiness to allow Srinivas to pursue Lalitha. As marriage arrangements begin, Lalitha learns the truth and decides to flee with Swapna, aiming to join Srinivas. Lambodharam offers to stop the marriage only if Lalitha accepts his condition.

Swapna listens to everything and goes in place of Lalitha in the marriage, while Lalitha reveals to Srinivas that Swapna is really Saroja. Nagayya also recognizes his daughter, marking a turning point. Srinivas rushes to protect Swapna.

With the truth out, Srinivas protects Swapna, and Nagayya accepts his daughter back into the family. The emotional tension resolves as the family comes together. The trio prepares for a hopeful future.

In the final sequence, Srinivas marries Lalitha with Swapna’s blessing, and Swapna/Saroja remains part of their family. The story ends on a note of forgiveness, love, and new beginnings. The bonds between the three characters are solidified as they start a new life together.
