Sonic the Hedgehog 3

The film begins with Sonic the Hedgehog narrating his life while living in the Green Hill Zone with an owl named Longclaw. Due to his superspeed powers, Longclaw urges Sonic to keep his abilities hidden from the outside world to ensure his safety.

A tribe of aggressive echidnas attacks Sonic's home, threatening his safety. To protect him, Longclaw gives Sonic a bag of rings, which can transport him to different places, and sends him through a portal to Earth while she holds off their attackers.

Ten years later, Sonic has been living in isolation in a cave in Green Hills, Montana. He observes Sheriff Tom Wachowski and his wife Maddie, whom he nicknames 'Donut Lord' and 'Pretzel Lady' due to their fondness for snacks.

Feeling lonely, Sonic inadvertently creates an electromagnetic pulse while trying to have some fun on a little league field, knocking out power across the Pacific Northwest. This event catches the attention of local law enforcement.

The Department of Defense, suspecting a dangerous phenomenon, calls in the brilliant but arrogant scientist Dr. Robotnik to investigate the power outage. Robotnik arrives with drones to find any trace of Sonic and starts his pursuit.

As Sonic prepares to escape to a mushroom planet, he ends up in Tom's garage. Tom discovers him, but in an attempt to capture him, hits Sonic with a tranquilizer dart, leading to a chaotic encounter in which Sonic accidentally opens a portal to San Francisco.

Robotnik tracks Sonic to the Wachowskis' home. After a confrontation, Tom helps Sonic escape and reluctantly agrees to take him to San Francisco to retrieve his rings while evade the chaos generated by Robotnik.

On their way to San Francisco, Tom and Sonic stop at a gas station and then visit a bar where Sonic wants to have some fun. A brawl erupts after they play darts, leading to a comical showdown where Sonic uses his speed to outmaneuver the attackers.

Sonic and Tom finally arrive in San Francisco, meeting Maddie's sister Rachel and her daughter JoJo. After a tense introduction, they successfully tie up Rachel to avoid complications as they prepare to retrieve the bag of rings.

Atop the Transamerica Pyramid, they locate Sonic's rings, but Robotnik arrives just in time. Sonic uses his abilities to push Tom and Maddie to safety while engaging Robotnik’s drones in a high-speed battle.

After a fierce fight with Robotnik, Sonic is knocked unconscious. However, Tom's declaration of friendship revives Sonic, giving him a surge of power that turns the tide against Robotnik and his machines.

With Robotnik defeated, Sonic uses his rings to teleport Tom and Maddie safely back to Green Hills. In the aftermath, the community stands by Sonic, showcasing their newfound appreciation for him as one of their own.

Tom and Maddie decide to keep Sonic, creating a space for him in their attic that resembles his cave. With newfound family and friends, Sonic feels a sense of belonging that he had longed for.

On the mushroom planet, Robotnik obsessively devises plans to return to Earth, now bald with a striking moustache like in the video games. He still possesses Sonic's quill and is determined to hunt down Sonic.

During the credits, the scene shifts to Earth, where a new character, Tails the fox, appears. With his notable double tail, he takes to the skies, embarking on a mission to track down Sonic.
