Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror

Holmes is summoned by Sir Evan Barham to assist British Intelligence in stopping Nazi saboteurs operating in Britain. The saboteurs' activities are announced in advance via radio broadcasts by 'The Voice of Terror'. Holmes begins his investigation into these espionage activities.

Gavin, one of Holmes's operatives, is murdered with a German dagger in the back during an encounter. Before dying, he manages to say the word 'Christopher', which later becomes a crucial clue. Holmes and Watson start to piece together the connection to the enemy agents.

Holmes and Watson travel to London's Limehouse area to meet Kitty, Gavin's wife, after learning of Gavin's death. They seek her assistance in understanding Gavin's last words and his connection to the spy network.

Holmes explains to the council that he used an oscilloscope to analyze sound wave patterns from radio broadcasts. He deduces that 'The Voice of Terror' is actually recorded on phonograph records and broadcast from Germany, not live in Britain. This reveals the enemy’s broadcast source.

Based on Kitty's tip, Holmes and Watson go to the old Christopher Docks. They are followed by Sir Anthony Lloyd, but are captured by Nazi spies led by Meade. They are rescued by East End men during an attack on the Nazis, though Meade escapes through a trap door to a waiting speedboat.

Kitty disguises herself as a thief on the run and joins Meade, discovering his plan to go to Sir Evan's country estate in Kent that same night. She learns about the secret package passed to the German pilot during the plane landing.

Holmes and his team trace Meade and the German soldiers to a remote location on the south coast of England. With British troopers' support, they set a trap to capture the spies and Meade's accomplices in an abandoned church.

Holmes exposes Sir Evan Barham as the real 'Voice of Terror', who is an impostor. It is revealed that the true Sir Evan Barham was executed in a German war camp during World War I and the current impostor is Heinrich Von Bock posing as him for 24 years.

Holmes discusses how Von Bock used plastic surgery and had studied Barham’s background to convincingly impersonate him. The key evidence was a childhood scar on Barham that the impostor lacked, and the age of the scar from plastic surgery.

Holmes confirms that the German invasion plan has been thwarted. The spies' plot is dismantled, and the enemy's secret radio network is neutralized. The German spies are captured or killed in the process.

Enraged, Meade shoots and fatally wounds Kitty during their escape attempt. Holmes's team manages to kill Meade as he tries to flee, but Kitty succumbs to her wounds, heroically sacrificing herself for the cause.

The council members stand around Kitty's body, swearing that her heroic death will inspire continued resistance. Holmes, Watson, and the British agents reflect on the victory over the spies and honor Kitty’s sacrifice.
