Dex arrives first at the old place, told by his roommates to disappear for a while as danger closes in around him. He soon reconnects with Camille Charlie Dizon, his old friend, at Allan’s store, where the siblings’ financial worries come into sharper focus just as Dex’s own trouble shadows him.
