His Emu scam stands out as one of his most infamous cons, luring investors with claims of astronomical returns.

Bhanu arrives from a poor background and comes to work for Gandhi, drawn by his charisma and the promise of a better life. She quickly falls for his charm, but Gandhi's ambition consistently outruns his softer side. He uses her presence to bolster his public image, and ultimately she is left behind as his schemes move on.

Gandhi is arrested in a minor scam, and the local press reduces the incident to a small box item. ACP Jaya Prakasham of the Chennai Police identifies Gandhi and launches a wider set of cases against him. This recognition marks the beginning of a relentless pursuit.

The pursuit turns brutal as the cops torture Gandhi in an attempt to recover money. The evidence remains elusive, and the cases drift through the legal system, delaying conviction. Public attention grows as authorities close in.

Months pass and the court releases Gandhi on the grounds of insufficient evidence. Meanwhile, his partners betray him, absconding with the bulk of the stolen money. An angry investor hires Valavan and his gang to recover the funds, potentially by lethal means.

Valavan and his gang begin pursuit, tracking Gandhi through the city and laying plans to recover the money. The arrangement is brutal and transactional, revealing the price of Gandhi's ambition. Gandhi recognizes the depth of treachery but keeps moving forward.

The final plan targets Moovendhar, a wealthy marble and granite magnate, using a sophisticated rice-pulling scam and a ritual artifact as the payoff. The scheme promises about ₹100 crore, a vast fortune that pushes Gandhi to gamble everything. The crew heads toward Madurai, assembling the pieces for a last, audacious heist.

A fierce struggle erupts during the caper, and Gandhi ends up killing the other gang members and taking the money. He returns toward his wife and unborn child with the loot, haunted by the cost of his ambitions. The moment crystallizes the film’s moral tension between wealth and life.

Facing Bhanu's expression and the fragility of life, Gandhi surrenders the money to police custody. He chooses life and family over the power of easy riches, ending his run as a master manipulator. The climax leaves a cautionary note about greed and its ultimate price.
