Sanam Teri Kasam

A large crowd congratulates Inder Lal Parihaar after winning a case. He returns home, grabs a bottle of wine, and walks to a flowering tree as a flashback begins.

Saraswati, a traditional Telugu librarian, is rejected by suitors who find her old-fashioned. Her sister Kaveri's wedding is postponed until Saru marries, and Saru promises to find a husband soon.

Inder Lal Parihaar, an ex-convict known for his tough attitude, moves into the same building as Saru. Lily, the original owner, has already transferred ownership to Inder, setting the stage for their intertwined fates.

Inder immediately falls for Saru and ends his relationship with his girlfriend Ruby Malhotra to pursue the new romance. This marks a turning point in his life and the beginning of their connection.

Inder and Saru meet in the elevator by accident and later at the library where she works. Inder tries to pass written messages to Saru, but she overlooks them.

Saru secretly meets Inder to get a makeover from Ruby. A drunken Ruby barges in, misunderstands the situation, and throws a wine bottle at Saru; Inder shields Saru and gets injured.

The security guard sees Saru and Inder together in Inder's bed, and neighbors spread the rumor. Jayram, Saru's father, is embarrassed and disowns her.

Saru confides in her mother about the situation but asks her to keep it secret to spare Kaveri's wedding plan from being ruined. The family pressures continue in the background.

Inder helps Saru find a new apartment and a makeover, attracting Abhimanyu's attention. Inder remains silent when Abhimanyu proposes, allowing familial dynamics to influence the match.

On the wedding day, Abhimanyu is rejected due to family pressure, leaving Saru devastated. She spends the night with Inder, and the next morning, he sees her with Abhimanyu through a window and, depressed, ends contact.

Inder tracks Saru down at a monastery and confesses his love. Saru faints and is rushed to the hospital, where Inder learns she has terminal meningioma and is arrested after confronting her parents.

After being discharged, Saru discovers Inder's love through messages he left at the library, and the couple reunites. Saru proposes marriage.

That night, Saru tells Inder she wishes to be buried under a beautiful flowering tree after death. Inder asks his father for land beneath the tree to fulfill the wish.

On their wedding day, Saru's parents arrive and bless the marriage, but she faints after the ceremony and is hospitalized. Jayram is heartbroken and guilty as the illness becomes known to the family.

Inder reveals that Lily, his nanny, killed his uncle to protect him, and Saru's support helps him reconcile with his father. Saru dies in Inder's arms, devastating him, but he later reconciles with Rajinder in the hospital thanks to Saru's words. The story returns to the present as Inder visits Saru's grave beneath the flowering tree, whispering that his love is eternal.
