Sam the Snowman narrates Rudolph, whose glowing nose gets him kicked out of the reindeer games. He befriends Hermey, an elf who wants to be a dentist, and Yukon Cornelius, a prospector. Together they face the Abominable Snowman, find a misfit‑toy island, and give Santa—whose fog‑filled sleight needs an idea—a way to rescue the toys on Christmas Eve.
