Rock On!!

In 1998, Magik forms in Mumbai as a close-knit band consisting of Aditya (lead singer), Joe (lead guitarist), Rob (keyboardist), and KD (drummer). They share a carefree, rebellious dream of making music together. When Channel V announces a competition, they decide to enter for a life-changing album contract and a music video.

Magik wins the Channel V contest and earns an album contract and a music video. However, they quickly realize the deal requires sacrifices. Joe's slow song written for his girlfriend Debbie is dropped to make room for a remix, and Debbie is rejected as the band's stylist without a call-back for a demonstration. The victory sours as tensions begin to simmer.

During the music video shoot, the band is forced to wear clothes they dislike and the cameramen focus only on Aditya. Joe loses his temper, striking the director and Aditya, and then abandons the shoot with Debbie. The behind-the-scenes pressure foreshadows the fracture in Magik.

After the confrontation, Magik loses the contract and the members drift apart. Aditya also abandons music and ends his relationship with Tanya as the band breaks up. The group dissolves and each member goes down separate paths.

Ten years later in 2008, Aditya has become a wealthy investment banker living in a luxury home with his wife Sakshi, but he remains unhappy. He tries to numb his mood with a lavish lifestyle rather than pursuing music. The past continues to haunt him from time to time.

Sakshi visits a jewelry shop owned by KD's father, where KD works, and overhears Sakshi discussing Aditya. This chance meeting plants the seed for reconnecting Magik. KD recalls their old friend and sees a possible way to revive their music.

Sakshi finds old Magik photos and videos and shows them to KD. She asks KD to come to Aditya's upcoming birthday party and invites the rest of the band to join. The plan is to reassemble Magik and relive their past glory.

KD and Rob reunite to invite Joe, who is now married to Debbie and supports a family with their eight-year-old son. Debbie runs a small fishing business but holds a grudge against the band for past choices. The reunion effort begins to take shape.

At a birthday party, Aditya runs into Tanya, now married to Ajay, an old rival turned friend; he apologizes for his past actions and Tanya forgives him. Sakshi, who is pregnant, becomes hurt by the past and leaves the gathering. The party triggers unresolved tensions as they stare down their history.

Devika urges Aditya to face his past, and the ex-bandmates meet at their old practice space. Aditya arrives and reconciles with Joe, Rob, and KD, and they begin practicing again at Aditya's house. Sakshi returns, sensing a chance to salvage her marriage and their shared past.

Channel V announces another contest, and Rob pushes the band to enter with Ajay's help; Ajay, frontman of a former rival group, offers support since his own band no longer plays. The comeback plan gains momentum as the team prepares to perform again.

Debbie arranges a guitar job for Joe on a cruise ship, which sails on the same day as the contest, creating a race against time for Joe to join Magik. The schedule pressure adds emotional and logistical tension to the reunion. Joe weighs family responsibilities against his old musical dream.

Rob is diagnosed with a brain tumor, and his last wish is to perform with Magik. The illness adds urgency to their reunion, intensifying the emotional stakes of their comeback. The band races to honor his dying wish with one last meaningful performance.

The contest is aired on the radio, and Joe is on his way to the airport when he hears Magik perform the song he wrote for Debbie. He rushes to join Aditya on stage, and the pair deliver a triumphant duet that rekindles the band's magic. The crowd erupts as old memories collide with new success.

Two months after the comeback performance, Rob dies, leaving the band with heavy memories. Sakshi gives birth to a baby boy named Rob, in memory of their friend. Devika dates KD, and KD starts a record company with Joe; Debbie becomes a stylist, and the band members and their families meet every weekend to keep Magik alive in spirit.
