Fresh out of prison, Pat Tate returns to his Essex nightclub but seeks revenge on those responsible for his five-year incarceration. He travels to Marbella, Spain, where he becomes entangled in a lucrative drug deal. To secure the deal, he relies on his friends Tony and Craig to deliver the money, but Craig’s incompetence transforms a simple journey into a perilous road trip. Meanwhile, Tony struggles to balance the mission with his promise to support his friend Nigel Benn at a crucial boxing match. As Pat pursues his violent revenge, unforeseen complications arise from a tainted drug shipment, leading to unexpected trouble and a tragic turn of events.
