Before his extradition to Africa, a notorious Belgian criminal is placed under the custody of the Marseille police for less than 24 hours. During that brief stint, the wily crook dupes the hapless Inspector Emilien, posing as a low‑level Belgian embassy employee who claims to have been set up by a brilliant mastermind. The uneasy partnership forces Emilien to navigate a web of lies as the clock ticks down.
