Chandu schemes the elopement of his cousin Swapna with her boyfriend, which provokes the ire of his family. As a result, Raghupathi distances himself and excludes Chandu from the family pursuits at R. S. Brothers. The incident isolates him and sets up the rift that drives much of the early plot.

Despite being ostracized, Chandu tries to bridge the gap with his relatives, but the walls of mistrust remain firmly in place. His efforts to rejoin the family are met with continued resistance and distance. The lack of reconciliation fuels his resolve to prove himself later in the story.

On the final day of college, Chandu and his friends encounter Gopi, who is depressed over his girlfriend’s marriage arrangement. In a misguided plan to cause chaos, they kidnap Pooja instead of Gopi’s intended girlfriend due to a mistaken identity at a function hall. The mistaken act sets off a chain of adventures.

Chandu, Pooja, and the others are pursued by hooligans who want Pooja back. They manage to escape most of the danger, but Chandu and Pooja end up separated from the group and stranded in a forest. The isolation deepens the bond forming between them.

While in the forest, Chandu begins to develop feelings for Pooja, who reciprocates his affections. The harsh circumstances reveal a softer, protective side of Chandu. Their connection marks a turning point in their relationship.

Pooja takes shelter at Chandu’s home, disguising herself as a disciple of Raghupathi’s spiritual guru. Chandu is welcomed back by the family, and for a moment, the past hostility softens. The house becomes a place of fragile reconciliation.

Chandu learns that Pooja is an NRI visiting her warring maternal uncles, Peddinaidu and Chittinaidu. The uncles want to marry her off to their own sons to secure her inherited property, creating a new external conflict. The family dynamics add motivation for Chandu to intervene.

Recognizing the manipulation at play, Chandu resolves to transform the uncles rather than fight them outright. He believes that changing their minds is key to securing Pooja’s future. This sets up a plan that blends humor with strategic moves.

To gain credibility and access, Chandu joins the auditor Murthy as his assistant. He uses this position to orchestrate the machinations necessary to influence the uncles. It marks a shift from impulsive acts to calculated schemes.

Murthy lies that Chandu used to be an auditor in America working with imaginary brothers 'Chicago Subba Rao' and 'Dallas Nageswara Rao'. The fabrication is intended to impress and intimidate, broadening the scope of their deception. The lie becomes a tool in their larger plan.

Chandu leverages Murthy’s lie to stage impersonations: Raghupathi and his father pose as Chicago Subba Rao and Dallas Nageswara Rao, Swarajyam’s husband and Rajaram pose as friends of Pooja’s parents, and they falsely claim a World Bank loan to sway Peddinaidu. The plan is meant to unsettle the uncles and force their consent.

After a series of twists and a reconciling arc, Chandu and his uncle Raghupathi bring about a positive change in both uncles. Pooja’s uncles grant consent, and Pooja marries Chandu in a scene that resolves the conflict. The family’s rift is healed through wit, trickery, and ultimately genuine intent.
