Raghupathi Raghupathi is the eldest of three brothers, with his brothers Raghava Raghava and Rajaram, and a sister named Swarajyam Swarajyam. The family runs the shopping mall R. S. Brothers, and long-standing ties bind them all. Chandu, the only son of Raghava, is caught in a web of family expectations and pride. His bond with Swapna—a cousin—sparks a dramatic rift when Chandu arranges her elopement with her boyfriend, which leads to his swift ousting from the house and a cold, isolating withdrawal from his kin by Raghupathi. Despite his exile, Chandu longs to reconnect with his relatives, but every attempt is rebuffed, leaving him with few allies inside the family circle.
On the eve of the final day of college, Chandu and his friends cross paths with their moody friend “Google” Gopi Google Gopi, who is brooding over a romance that seems to be slipping away. Chandu, always quick with a plan, decides to intervene in his friend’s love life by trying to derail the impending wedding and instead seeing Pooja Pooja find happiness with Gopi. A twist of fate changes everything when, due to a mistaken identity sparked by the name of a function hall, they end up kidnapping Pooja instead of Gopi’s intended bride. A frantic chase ensues with some hooligans pursuing them, and while most of the escape is successful, Chandu and Pooja find themselves alone in a forest, where the initial spark between them grows into something deeper, and Chandu begins to fall for her—something Pooja quietly reciprocates.
Back home, Pooja stays with Chandu, choosing to hide in his family’s house by posing as a disciple of Raghupathi’s spiritual guru. This reintegration into the household allows Chandu to dream of proposing, but he soon learns a more pressing truth: Pooja is an NRI visiting her warring maternal uncles, Peddinaidu and Chittinaidu, who are eager to marry her off to their own sons to secure the inheritance she will bring. Chandu resolves to reform both uncles before any marriage can take place. To accomplish this, he partners with Murthy, an auditor, and uses Murthy’s clever storytelling to present himself as Murthy’s nephew, a ruse that Drapes in legends of fictitious brothers “Chicago” Subba Rao and “Dallas” Nageswara Rao.
As the deception unfolds, Chandu digs deeper into the uncles’ plans and uses humor and wit to expose their greed. He also engineers a social credit by arranging for Raghupathi and his father to pose as those same pseudo-brothers, Chicago Subba Rao and Dallas Nageswara Rao, to sow doubt in Peddinaidu and Chittinaidu about the strength of their own schemes. A bold prank—suggesting that Chicago Subba Rao’s daughter has greater property than Pooja—pushes the uncles to re-evaluate their intentions. Amid these hijinks, the family begins to see the truth behind their pretenses, and the bonds that once seemed unbridgeable start to soften.
In the end, a genuine transformation takes hold. Chandu’s clever ploys, paired with the mounting willingness of Swarajyam’s husband Chandramohan and the rest of the clan to face reality, guide Peddinaidu and Chittinaidu toward a more humane view of their niece’s future. With the uncles’ consent secured, Pooja’s marriage to Chandu becomes not just a union of two people but a reconciliation that repairs the rifts within the family, restoring harmony to the sprawling R. S. Brothers household. The story balances humor and sentiment, spotlighting how love, perseverance, and clever misdirection can bring about lasting change in a tightly knit but fractious family.
