With the prohibition announced in 1995, Deva decides to enter the illegal liquor trade by smuggling from Orissa into the city. The move pits him against established rivals and power brokers. The ambition to raise land value through shady deals begins to take shape.

Geetha and Sahasra are kidnapped by Simhachalam in Deva's absence, heightening the stakes and forcing Deva to act. The abduction signals that the past rivalries still have influence and immediate consequences. The threat now spans international lines, linking Spain and Visakhapatnam.
