Rally Road Racers

Zhi, a slow loris, lives in a rural Chinese village with his grandmother. As a child, he idolizes Archie Vainglorious, a cane toad racer, dreaming of becoming just like him.

Zhi learns about Vainglorious Industries' plan to demolish his village in favor of cane toad housing. Feeling a sense of urgency, he hopes for a potential dialogue with the once-beloved Archie Vainglorious.

When Zhi finally meets Vainglorious, he is met with disdainful arrogance rather than understanding. Vainglorious ultimately agrees to a race to decide the fate of the village, igniting Zhi's determination.

Gnash, a retired goat racer turned mechanic, reluctantly decides to help Zhi in his quest. Out of duty to Zhi's deceased mother, he provides Zhi with a car and begins the training process.

As the race approaches, Zhi grapples with performance anxiety when he finds himself in the lead. Gnash attempts to support him emotionally, but Zhi's fears begin to weigh heavily on him.

During a break in the race, Zhi meets Shelby, a fellow slow loris, and finds himself falling in love. Unbeknownst to him, she is secretly working with Vainglorious, feeding him Zhi's strategies.

As Zhi and Shelby's relationship deepens, she struggles with her duplicity and her feelings for him. This internal conflict grows as she realizes she must choose between loyalty to Vainglorious and her love for Zhi.
