A Sharma family moves into a house that locals claim is haunted. Mini continues her college life, while her parents grow uneasy as strange occurrences begin. Their elderly neighbor Nirmalamma reacts with fear upon learning a new family has moved in.

Mini's nephew Bunty discovers a cat hiding in the house basement with eerie, staring eyes. The discovery foreshadows supernatural events to come. The unsettling sight sets a grim mood for what follows.

The cat is killed accidentally when the car is reversed while it hides near the vehicle. The family buries the animal in the backyard, keeping Bunty in the dark. This secret burial marks the first eerie act connected to the hauntings.

Nirmalamma visits and reacts with fear when she learns a new family has moved into the neighborhood. Her ominous warning adds a sense of dread to the house. The family begins to suspect darker forces at work.

Bunty finds a second cat that bears an uncanny resemblance to the dead one. The uncanny recurrence heightens the sense of a lingering malevolent presence. The family grows more uneasy as signs accumulate.

Mini and Deepak plan a ride to the city limits. Deepak's bike rear tire goes flat, forcing them to pause and seek help. The incident begins a troubling sequence that unsettles Mini.

Deepak returns with a spare tire while Mini waits by a tree near a pond. She clutches her face with reddened eyes resembling the dead cat. When Deepak approaches, he slips into the pond, and Mini suddenly returns to normal, calling him to come out.

The next day, Rashmi is brutally murdered at a wedding, her neck twisted in an impossible angle. During interrogation, Mini twists her own doll's head in the same way, drawing the police's attention. The investigation takes a grim turn as danger seems to close in.

Shalini and Mr. Sharma decide to test both scientific and occult explanations. Shalini seeks help from their neighbor Nirmalamma, while Mr. Sharma consults a psychiatrist. The family becomes divided between science and superstition as the hauntings continue.

Nirmalamma advises calling Sharji, who lives in Falaknuma, for help. Sharji begins his journey to confront the haunting, guided by a lineage of gurus. The prospect of spiritual intervention gives the family renewed hope.

Sharji visits his guru, who has taken samadhi, and receives fire-powered ashes as a weapon. The guru imparts the means to confront the malevolent spirit. This prepares Sharji for the crucial confrontation with the ghost.

Sharji locates the ghost Sunanda in Mini's house basement under the floor. The ghost is revealed to be the spirit of the former mistress of the previous owner. The haunting escalates as the spirit targets Mini and her family.

Sharji performs holy chants and uses the ashes to neutralize the ghost. The spirit leaves Mini, and she is freed from possession. The film closes with lingering questions about the balance between science and spirituality.
