When a former math teacher pitches a film about the Devil proclaiming Earth to be hell, a director dismisses it. However, a series of unsettling events involving a writer, the director’s friend and a young prostitute he loves begin to echo the teacher’s chilling premise, suggesting that life itself becomes a kind of prison.
