Saban's Power Rangers

Millions of years ago, Zordon, the original Red Ranger, confronts Rita Repulsa, who was once a hero. As a result of their fierce battle, Zordon manages to defeat Rita, sealing her fate and becoming Earth's protector.

After her defeat, Rita turns to darkness, betraying her own team and seeking revenge against both Zordon and the Power Rangers. Her transformation marks the beginning of her quest for domination over the universe.

In an attempt to eliminate Rita and safeguard the Power Coins, Zordon instructs Alpha 5 to execute a drastic meteor strike. This catastrophe not only entombs Rita in the ocean but also leads to the extinction of the dinosaurs.

In present-day Angel Grove, California, high school football star Jason Scott faces the repercussions of a prank that lands him under house arrest. During this time, he reflects on his choices and the impact of his actions.

While under house arrest, Jason meets Billy Cranston, an intelligent outsider, and Kimberly Hart, a former cheerleader. Their initial connection sparks a friendship that leads to an unexpected adventure.

Following an adventure initiated by Billy disabling Jason's ankle monitor, the group ventures to an abandoned gold mine. There, they discover their Power Coins, igniting their transformation into the Power Rangers.

As the group tries to escape from the mine after finding their powers, they encounter a train on the tracks. The resulting crash propels them into their new roles as the protectors of Earth.

The following morning, the teenagers awaken with superhuman abilities. However, they soon learn that Rita has returned, determined to resurrect Goldar and obtain the Zeo Crystal for herself.

Upon discovering Zordon's consciousness in an ancient spaceship, the teens receive an urgent message: they have eleven days to stop Rita. They begin intense training, striving to master their powers and morph into their Ranger forms.

During their battle against Rita, tragedy strikes when Billy is killed. His death serves as a wake-up call for the Rangers, pushing them to unite and fight back against the evil threatening their world.

In a moment of desperation and loyalty, the remaining Rangers rally together to unlock the Morphing Grid, resurrecting Billy at a significant cost to Zordon. Their bond strengthens as they prepare for the final confrontation.

Now united, the Power Rangers confront Rita and her henchmen in an epic battle. They summon their Zords, showcasing their growth and teamwork as they strive to defeat her once and for all.

Even after their victory, Rita's parting words hint at more dangers that lie ahead. The sense of unresolved threats leaves the townspeople and the Rangers on high alert.

With their successful defeat of Rita, the townspeople of Angel Grove celebrate the Power Rangers as local heroes. However, the enduring presence of evil looms in their future.

In a mid-credits scene, a new character known as Tommy Oliver is teased, hinting that the Power Rangers' saga is far from over. The anticipation builds for their next set of challenges.
