Popeye the Slayer Man

A young woman named Adrienne steals a stash of cocaine from two drug dealers and is chased into the abandoned Anchor Bay Cannery. The dealers corner her inside the factory, which is reputed to be haunted by the 'Sailor Man'. The supernatural figure brutally kills the dealers when they confront Adrienne.

The next day, police find the bodies of the murdered drug dealers inside the cannery. Angus, a security guard, finds the corpses and is subsequently killed by the Sailor Man, indicating the supernatural presence still lurks within the factory.

Lex Alistair, the town’s CEO, meets with Harrigan, a lawyer, to discuss the future demolition of the cannery. Harrigan reports concerns about environmental contamination, which Alistair dismisses, highlighting the ongoing tension over the factory's fate.

Harrigan searches for her lost file folder in the cannery and encounters the Sailor Man. She is brutally attacked, her hair pulled off, and she is crushed to death with the factory's machinery, marking the first major death of a civilian in the story.

Dexter, Olivia, and their friends arrive at the cannery to film a documentary about the legend of Sailor Man before the factory is demolished. Dexter is motivated by his crush on Olivia, promising a documentary to uncover the truth behind the supernatural.

The students divide into pairs to explore different parts of the cannery. Katie stays behind to set up surveillance equipment, while the others investigate the site, unknowingly walking into danger as Sailor Man begins stalking them.

Katie faces Sailor Man for the first time and fights to escape. During her attempt, she runs into Joey and his friends, which results in Sailor Man killing Jesse and Terry after they attack him, highlighting his lethal nature.

Joey, panicked and believing Katie is Sailor Man, retrieves Terry's gun and accidentally shoots her in the side. Daisy, enraged, returns and abandons Joey as Sailor Man reappears, continuing his deadly stalking.

While trying to escape to the roof, Seth falls onto metal bars, killing him, and Lisa, attempting the same escape, is impaled when she falls onto Seth's corpse. Their deaths demonstrate Sailor Man’s growing threat to the students.

Dexter and Olivia discover Sailor Man has been consuming tainted spinach, which amplified his strength and caused mutations. They find a photo of his wife and child and newspaper clippings about Olive Oyl, linking him to the contamination scandal.

Olivia admits she is Sailor Man's daughter, which explains her desire to save him. She tries to reason with her father as Joey attacks them, and Sailor Man intervenes, killing Joey and sparing Olivia and Dexter temporarily.

Sailor Man fatally wounds Joey but spares Katie. Olivia, Dexter, and Katie escape the factory, calling the police. They see Sailor Man watching from a window, implying unresolved concern and hope for future help.

Later, Lex Alistair visits the cannery to oppose demolition plans but is unexpectedly killed by Sailor Man, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by the supernatural entity and the factory’s dark secrets.
