Kayal’s brother, a police officer named Prem Kumar Gaurav Narayanan, pushes for a different match with a wealthier designer, Aravind. Nalan returns to the restaurant to find a small sarcophagus left behind by a customer. From that moment the kitchen begins to behave strangely: lights turn on by themselves, utensils appear dirty, and a mysterious sweet dish materializes in the fridge. The staff sample it and find it exquisitely divine, and everyone assumes Nalan secretly crafted it, though he cannot explain the confection.
Nalan encounters Veera, who hands him the papers of ownership for the restaurant and praises his hard work. That night, a woman’s crying is heard downstairs.
