The film opens with Dr. Saxena, Rahul Roy, brutally murdered by a ghostly Mary Magdeline, Julia Bliss, who pulls his heart from his body. A nurse in the same hospital is killed at 3:00 am, setting off a string of mysterious and grisly deaths that puzzle the investigators.
Investigator Vijay Singh, [Shiney Ahuja], is assigned to track the killer. During his early phase of inquiry, he crosses paths with Dr. Suhani, [Sayali Bhagat], who was the first to discover the nurse’s body and who insists she sensed a supernatural force at work even as others remain unconvinced.
Another physician dies in the same ritualistic fashion, followed by the death of an office boy killed by a woman who had been assisting in the operating theatre just moments before. It is then revealed that a hospital intern named Mary has gone missing, adding to the mounting questions. Vijay also uncovers that he himself suffers from memory loss stemming from a prior accident, though fragments of his past begin to surface, including a memory of sharing an adventure show with Mary.
Suhani maintains that a supernatural spirit is at play, an idea Vijay dismisses at first but gradually the cases force him to reconsider. As the investigation deepens, visions from his forgotten past return, guiding him toward the truth of his own history. He learns that Mary was the woman he truly loved, with whom he had planned to marry in a church once his father approved.
The story takes a grim turn as the couple is attacked immediately after the ceremony. Vijay’s assailants beat him and leave him unconscious; Mary is brutally assaulted and crucified, left for dead. Two men eventually find her and rush her to the city hospital, where doctors initially declare her dead, yet a beating heart beats on, generating international media and embassy attention due to her status as an international citizen.
As the truth comes to light, it becomes clear that the father of Vijay orchestrated the entire conspiracy. He opposed the marriage and allegedly bribed the attackers, doctors, ward staff, and a nurse to carry out the killings. Confronting his father, Vijay watches as the man attempts to flee, but Mary, empowered by faith, exacts revenge and, together with the other attackers and the butcher, meets a grim end. In the final moments, Mary seeks solace in Jesus’s arms, her unwavering faith offering a quiet, solemn resolution to a tale of betrayal, vengeance, and supernatural retribution.
