Ozzy

The Martins announce a trip to a Comic Festival in Japan, and Ozzy's quarantine prevents him from joining. They urgently search for someone to watch him, but relatives refuse. A TV advertisement for Blue Creek, a dog hotel, promises care while they are away, sparking hope that Ozzy will be fine.

The Martins bring Ozzy to Blue Creek, where Mr. Robbins shows off a luxurious facility with saunas and a massage room. Susan and Ted are impressed and feel confident Ozzy will be well cared for. They say goodbye as Ozzy is left behind to begin his stay.

On arrival, the dogs are hustled into a truck bound for a private facility. A Great Dane guard named Decker orders them out, and Ozzy realizes this Blue Creek is actually a prison for dogs. He is arrested, labeled '463', and placed in a cell where he first meets Fronky.

Ozzy meets fellow prisoners Fronky, Chester, and Doc in the cell block. Fronky shares his dream of escaping and hints at a plan, while Chester explains the heartbreak of owners abandoning dogs. Ozzy resolves to keep hope alive for his family, despite grim surroundings.

Decker assigns Ozzy to a menial task sorting colored saucers, but a mistake lands him in a washing machine as punishment. The inmates' meals include cat food, and Fronky, Chester, and Doc become Ozzy's new circle of friends as they endure harsh routines.

The small Chihuahua Vito is released from the hole and immediately confronts Ozzy, sparking tension. Decker warns Vito about punishment if he strikes again, and Ozzy learns that the prison is ruled by fear and intimidation.

Fronky makes repeated escape attempts over many days, climbing roofs, crawling through vents, and even hang-gliding over walls, always ending up in Grant's office. He reveals that he helps a blind man named Bob and invites Ozzy to join his plan, deepening the group's resolve to escape.

Vito offers Ozzy a chance to be his runner and win favors, but Ozzy refuses, choosing instead to protect his friends and hold out for his family's return. Grunt and the guards begin pressuring him with threats and harsher work, pushing Ozzy toward a critical choice.

Fronky, Doc, and Ozzy advance the plan to escape by sneaking into the office to retrieve a blueprint and using underground passages to reach the factory. They recruit Chester, who initially balks but ultimately helps them, and they quietly prepare for the break.

At the racetrack, Ozzy faces the guards in a tense race against Jock while the lights flicker. He vanishes mid-race and slips into the air vents, heading for the factory. The plan seems to work until the truck departs, and Decker halts it to recapture the group.

Ozzy reaches the warden's office, destroys some bone sculptures to draw attention, and exposes that the race was fixed and Grunt was the true winner. He tells the inmates his real name, Ozzy, and throws the collars out the window, restoring their memories and sense of self.

The prison dogs band together and overwhelm the guards, freeing Robbins and escaping through the gates when the button is triggered. Ozzy and friends climb onto the truck as it evades capture and finally reach safety in the city, reuniting with their families.

Ozzy returns to the Martins' home with Fronky and Doc, and is joyfully reunited with his family. The Martins decide to keep Chester as part of the household, giving him a new loving home after his earlier loneliness.

Mr. Robbins is sentenced to 20 years for animal cruelty, and the dogs are finally reunited with their rightful owners. Ozzy learns to stand up to fear and to protect others, with the neighborhood dogs joining him against the troublemaking paperboy.
