Umesh leaves Thalassery for Chennai to escape his father's pressure to run the family grocery shop. After his short film project fails and he loses the camera in an accident, his father orders him to help at the shop. Seeing a bleak future in Thalassery, Umesh decides to chase his dream of becoming a filmmaker in Chennai.

During his short film project, Umesh loses the camera in a mishap. This accident ends his attempt to make a short film and upload it online for fame. The loss marks the first major setback that pushes him toward reconsidering his path and eventually leads him to leave for Chennai.

Umesh coerces Daisy into posing for a selfie during the train journey to Chennai. He lies to his friends that they are having an affair and sends them the selfie. This creates false rumors about an elopement that spread in Thalassery when he returns, forcing him to go back to Chennai to clear his name.

Jack Tracker is introduced as a private detective who has been tracing online fraud. However, he later reveals his true identity as Nivin, a CBCID officer from Tamil Nadu. He was investigating the masterminds behind the online fraud scheme that cheats young women, and his involvement with Umesh was part of this larger investigation.

Hari is the man Daisy loves and wants to marry. They communicated through Facebook and emails but never met in person. When the group travels to Pazhani to find Hari, they discover he died by suicide a year earlier after being cheated in a business venture by his partner John Mathew Bhaskar.

John Mathew Bhaskar is Hari's business partner who cheated him in a business venture, leading to Hari's suicide. After Hari's death, John misused Hari's online accounts, Facebook and email, to defraud others, creating the online romance scam that the CBCID was investigating.

The fraud involves creating fake online identities using Hari's social media and email accounts. The scammers pose as Hari to form romantic relationships with young women, then defraud them of money. John Mathew Bhaskar orchestrates this scheme after cheating Hari and using his identity to continue the scam.

Months after the investigation, Umesh meets Nivin at a resort who informs him that the cybercrime unit has identified John as the real culprit behind the online fraud. Umesh then confronts John at the resort and smashes a bottle over his head, seeking justice for the harm John caused to Hari and the women he scammed.

Daisy fell in love with Hari through online correspondence, Facebook messages and emails. They communicated for a long time but never met in person. Despite never meeting physically, Daisy was genuinely emotionally attached to him and wanted to marry him, which is why she agrees to help find him.

When Nivin reveals he is actually a CBCID officer named Nivin, not a private detective, the investigation shifts from Umesh's personal romance problem to a larger criminal case. The group realizes they have been helping a police officer uncover an online fraud syndicate that has been cheating young women.
