In the final moments of Organ Trail, Rhys’s thirst for power reaches its peak as he kills Logan and consolidates control over his remaining enemies. With his dominance secured, Rhys believes he has achieved complete victory, but just as he prepares to fully revel in his triumph, his plans are interrupted by the arrival of Abigale and Erik. Rhys patiently waits for the right moment to strike, anticipating their escape, but Felix, one of Logan’s former followers, disrupts his scheme by setting him ablaze with a lantern. Although Rhys is temporarily caught on fire, he does not succumb immediately, hinting at his seemingly unstoppable nature. As Abigale, Erik, Cassidy, and Felix reach safety at Erik’s home, Rhys appears once more, battered but still dangerous. In a final act of defiance, Cassidy manages to shoot Rhys with his own arrow, the same weapon Rhys had previously used. This act of poetic justice results in Rhys’s death, as he is impaled by his own weapon, symbolizing karma catching up with him for his cruelty and violence.

Tragically, Cassidy and Felix lose their lives during this ordeal, sacrificing themselves to protect their friends and to atone for their past misdeeds. Meanwhile, Abigale, wounded but resilient, begins to find her strength in facing her fears and losses. The ending takes a surreal twist when Rhys appears to rise from the dead, reminiscent of a zombie, further amplifying the film’s dark and gritty tone. However, this resurrection serves more as a symbolic reminder that a person’s actions and their consequences can linger, haunting them long after death, rather than a literal return from the dead.
