Steve Stratton (Macdonald Carey) is a gritty African hunter who captures wild animals for a sanctuary he runs, planning to sell them to zoos and circuses. While operating from Kenya to the Congo, he hires a new veterinarian, P.J. Muir, unaware that the “P” stands for Pamela, portrayed by Rhonda Fleming.
