Gopan, Kora, and Bhakthavalsalan encounter Major Nair, a retired man who loves romancing young girls. After a clash of egos, Nair learns they intend to woo his daughter Minu. He sets the stage for a contest to test their resolve.

Nair angrily proposes that the trio must make Minu fall for one of them. The trio accepts, deciding to woo Minu under his watchful eye. The stakes are set for a house-bound competition of charm and deception.

Minu, who cares deeply about disabled people, is drawn to Preman because of the trio's setup. She believes Preman is disabled and begins a romantic relationship. This misperception anchors the subsequent plots.

Gopan infiltrates Nair's household by posing as a servant, gaining easy access to Minu's room. This move gives the trio a foothold to influence Minu more directly. The deception deepens within the house.

Kora arrives at Nair's house as a disciple of his brother-in-law, a wrestler, adding another layer to the web of pretensions around Minu. His presence expands the troupe's options to win her affection.

Bhakthavalsalan proclaims himself a Hindi scholar and even claims to be Rajesh Khanna's nephew, obtaining the role of Minu's Hindi tutor. The impersonation heightens the farce surrounding Minu's education.

Govind appears in front of Minu as a blind man, evoking sympathy. Minu welcomes him into the household, further entangling the group in the ruse. His presence deepens the chorus of schemes at Nair's home.

Major Nair is shocked to find all four intruders inside his home, but he fears exposure because of a photograph taken at a cabaret show. The image could be used for blackmail, keeping him from exposing the ruses. This secret binds him to let the intruders linger for the moment.

Nair asserts control and chases the quartet out of his house, reclaiming his privacy and ending the immediate intrusions. The home returns to a semblance of order, though the emotional stakes remain unresolved. The eviction resets the dynamics for the next phase.

After the eviction, the trio discovers that Minu's feelings for Preman are sincere. They recognize that their earlier schemes were hollow and that the relationship deserves respect. This marks a shift from competition to acceptance of true love.

The trio, along with Govind, puts aside rivalries to support Preman and Minu's union. With their combined effort, they work to ensure the couple can marry despite past deceptions. The plan reframes into backing the couple rather than undermining them.

Preman and Minu marry, achieving their genuine love. Major Nair loses the bet and must shave his mustache in half as the humorous consequence. The film closes on a lighthearted note, celebrating the couple's victory over the schemes.
