However, this seemingly perfect existence is meticulously constructed; lurking beneath the surface lies a haunting secret that Jack conceals not only from his family but also from himself.

When tragedy strikes and Toby goes missing, Jack realizes that his past has come back to haunt him, forcing him to confront the unsettling truths he has long buried. Joined by the inexperienced newly-appointed sheriff and a couple of cautious FBI agents, Jack’s search leads him down a treacherous path into his own history. He encounters a psychic who vividly illustrates Jack’s hidden secret, plunging him into a world filled with darkness and dread. This journey takes him from the desperate barrios to the seediest brothels within the shadowy underbelly of Mexico City.
