Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom

Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura and Rock Lee are assigned to safeguard Prince Hikaru Tsuki and his father Michiru Tsuki on their journey to the Land of the Moon. Hikaru's spoiled attitude tests Naruto's patience, foreshadowing the challenges ahead. Michiru's wealth is obvious when he casually buys a circus to befriend Chamū the saber-toothed cat and its monkey partner Kiki. The team sets out with the goal of keeping the royal party safe.

Michiru flaunts his wealth by purchasing the entire circus to win the trust of Chamū and Kiki. Hikaru seeks friendship with Chamū, but the saber-toothed cat's aggression creates tension. Naruto intervenes when Chamū's behavior endangers Hikaru, showing his resolve to protect the group. The incident sets the stage for a journey where true bonds matter more than riches.

At the port, Michiru revisits his ex-wife Amayo, who greets Hikaru warmly but resists rekindling the marriage because of Michiru's materialism. Amayo's stance hints at deeper issues beyond wealth. The reunion underscores the theme of what truly matters beyond possessions.

A storm on the sea threatens the ship and forces the crew to secure the circus animals aboard. Chamū's clashes with Hikaru linger, while Naruto grows more concerned for animal welfare. With Naruto's help, Hikaru manages to get Chamū and Kiki to safety, and their tensions give way to a budding bond.

The ship reaches the Land of the Moon, only to discover a coup in which the king's minister Shabadaba has seized power. Korega leads loyal guards to guide the travelers to a mountain refuge and introduce them to a wounded Kakeru Tsuki. They learn that Shabadaba has hired mercenaries to back him up. Michiru and Hikaru realize the stakes are higher than wealth.

Ishidate and his mercenaries confront the group; Ishidate's gauntlet petrifies Kakeru's lower body, a wound Sakura cannot heal immediately. The attack triggers a failed escape attempt, and Korega is petrified and killed. Michiru is captured by Shabadaba's forces, escalating the peril.

Naruto's resolve deepens as he taps into the Nine-Tails power to protect Hikaru and their companions. The party commits to rescuing Michiru from Shabadaba's clutches, with Chamū and Kiki providing support.

Kakashi leads a coordinated strike alongside the circus crew and Korega's loyal guards to breach the palace defenses and reach Michiru. The alliance demonstrates teamwork across Sky and Moon realms to counter the coup.

Inside the palace, Hikaru and Naruto navigate toward Michiru while Sakura and Rock Lee defeat Ishidate's underlings Karenbana and Kongō. Ishidate battles Naruto and petrifies his leg, and even petrifies Shabadaba when he pushes Ishidate to kill Michiru first.

Michiru and Hikaru lend their strength to Naruto, lifting him so he can unleash Rasengan enhanced by the moonlight of the Land of the Moon. The combined attack overwhelms Ishidate and Shabadaba, ending their threat.

With the threat vanquished, Michiru expresses gratitude and they reflect on what truly matters. Kakashi's exhaustion prompts a two-week stay in the Land of the Moon, where they enjoy a vacation and witness Michiru and Hikaru's inauguration as the new King and Prince.

As preparations to depart begin, Michiru hints at reconciling with Amayo, signaling a future built on more than wealth and power and a renewed sense of what truly matters.
