Nanu Ki Jaanu

Anand, operating as a land mafia agent in Delhi, along with his gang, intimidates property owners to acquire their apartments illegally. He is shown making deals and expanding his property portfolio through intimidation and force. This establishes his role as a ruthless operator involved in criminal activities.

While on his way to make another deal, Anand stops when he witnesses a traffic accident involving a girl named Siddhi. He notices her lying on the road with a pool of blood but initially does not intervene. The scene indicates a pivotal moment that will impact the characters deeply.

Nanu, another character, sees Siddhi still alive after the accident and rushes her to the hospital. Unfortunately, she dies despite efforts to save her, leaving Nanu disturbed and emotionally shaken by her demise. This tragic event triggers Nanu’s guilt and emotional turmoil.

After her death, Siddhi's spirit becomes a ghost and starts haunting Anand's apartment. Her ghostly presence causes trouble for Anand and his friends, as she begins to possess or trouble those around him. The supernatural occurrence disrupts his normal life.

It is revealed that Siddhi’s father keeps her body stored in a freezer, demonstrating his love and grief. Siddhi’s ghost interacts with the living and begins to trouble them, especially Anand’s circle. Her unresolved death creates a haunting extension of her emotional distress.

Initially frightened by Siddhi's ghost, Anand and his friends eventually realize that her spirit does not intend to harm them. Instead, she exhibits love towards Anand and tries to communicate her feelings, leading to a change in their perception of her ghostly presence.

Nanu, overwhelmed by guilt, begins seeking answers and confronts the truth that he was the one who hit Siddhi during the accident. His realization of his culpability deeply affects him, prompting him to seek reconciliation and understanding.

Nanu approaches Siddhi’s father to confess his mistake, but Siddhi's ghost intervenes. For the first time, Nanu openly confesses his love for Siddhi and asks her father to end his life, revealing his desire to be free from guilt and to be with her.

Siddhi's ghost breaks out of her body to communicate her final wishes: to overcome her guilt, to be freed from her earthly existence, and to allow Nanu to live without the burden of her death. She expresses her love and asks her father for her release.

After sharing her message, Siddhi’s ghost enters a bright light and departs, reincarnating into a new life. Nanu and her father watch as her spirit is finally released, bringing closure to her haunting and allowing her soul to find peace.
