Naga (2023) Ending Explained – Final Scene & Meaning

Sarah’s night of rebellion ends in a frantic scramble through the desert. After Sa ad is arrested and she is left alone, a vengeful‑looking mother camel forces her to seek shelter under a car. With her phone dead, she convinces Hadeel to come rescue her, but without an address she must run. She stumbles upon a small shop that rents quad bikes; the owner helps her out, and when a trio of rowdy riders threaten the shop she intervenes, causing one of them to catch fire. Seizing the chaos, she locks the men inside, grabs a quad, and races toward the main road, only to abandon the vehicle halfway and finish the trek on foot.

At the road’s edge an ice‑cream van stops. The driver, seeing her distress, drives her to the nearest hospital in Riyadh. There she is rushed into an ambulance; her father, who had texted that he would arrive around 11:30 p.m., meets her in the hallway, relieved that she is alive. He does not scold her for breaking curfew, and the medical staff treat her injuries. A nurse brings her a slice of cake, a small gesture that signals the night’s ordeal is finally over.

Because Sarah had taken a hallucinogen earlier, the film leaves it ambiguous which of the night’s horrors were real—the angry camel, the violent punks, even some of the encounters may have been imagined. Yet the concrete moments—Sa ad’s arrest, the police raid, the rescue by the van driver—remain. In the final scene she uploads a video of the night’s events to social media, stepping out of the silence that her conservative upbringing demanded. The ending thus shows Sarah surviving the desperate race against time, confronting the consequences of her rebellion, and choosing to speak out despite the risks.
