In the late 1950s, an enigmatic aerial phenomenon crashes into a United States military hangar. President Dwight D. Eisenhower personally oversees the incident and commands the immediate disposal of the extraterrestrial entity.

Fast forward to 1985, where we are introduced to high school senior Michael Harlan, who has a keen interest in muscle cars but a disdain for science. His friend, Ellie Sawyer, tries to enlighten him amidst their adventures.

During a fateful trip to an aircraft boneyard, Michael stumbles upon a concealed fallout shelter. Inside, he discovers a luminous plasma device that he has no idea will drastically change his life.

Unbeknownst to Michael, the plasma device is part of a clandestine government project. Upon activating it during auto shop class, Michael inadvertently sets off a series of chaotic events.

The activation of the device results in bizarre transformations, including the bizarre alteration of an Ancient Greek vase. More alarming is the sudden loss of two hours from Michael and his friends' lives.

Feeling overwhelmed by the recent events, Michael seeks guidance from his former science teacher, Dr. Roberts. Recognizing the device's true potential as a dimensional portal, he becomes eager to explore its capabilities.

Dr. Roberts plugs the device into an electrical socket, believing it to be a source of cosmic enlightenment. Instead, he is consumed by its energy and vanishes without a trace, leaving behind a medallion.

With their newfound crisis, Michael and Vince attempt to flee from the relentless authorities. Their journey leads them to challenge the fundamental laws of time and space.

As they traverse through dimensions, Michael and Vince encounter an array of fantastical creatures, including a massive T-Rex. Their adventures reveal the unintended consequences of their actions.

During the chaos, Ellie finds herself caught up in the unsettling repercussions of the device's activation. The disruptions lead to bizarre occurrences in their school life, further complicating their situation.
