However, the pilot unexpectedly shows up with a bag full of cash, only to reveal himself as the true villain who intends to steal their money. He then abandons them mid-flight, leaving the couple to face another unexpected twist, hinting that their investigation might continue in a third installment. The film ends with Nick and Audrey bracing for more mystery, showing that their journey as amateur detectives is far from over.
