Munna Michael

Manasva “Michael” Roy is a dancer inspired by Michael Jackson. One day, he is fired from his job at the studio. On his way home, he finds a newborn baby on the roadside and adopts him, naming the child Manav “Munna” Roy. Munna grows into an extraordinary dancer and a diehard fan of Michael Jackson, while his father urges him to pursue a steady job. Munna secretly visits dance clubs with his friends and challenges dancers to win money, letting his passion burn brighter than the paycheck.

Michael falls ill and is admitted to the hospital. When Munna goes to see him, he is told again to give up dancing. Meanwhile, Mumbai’s clubs blacklist Munna and his crew, pushing him to seek opportunities in Delhi.

In Delhi, Munna’s bold style clashes with Balli, the formidable brother of gangster Mahinder Fauji. Mahinder, who watches a CCTV clip of Munna dancing after the skirmish with Balli, is impressed and asks Munna to teach him how to dance. Their lessons forge an unlikely friendship, and Mahinder gradually shares that he wants to become a better dancer to impress his crush, Deepika “Dolly” Sharma, a dancer in a club.

Mahinder enlists Munna to help Dolly, disguising a courier delivery as a gift. Dolly and Munna grow closer; Dolly confesses her dream of becoming a renowned dancer and winning the Dancing Star contest in Mumbai. Munna helps by securing an appointment letter for Dolly to lead the dance at the Blue Star Hotel in Meerut, owned by Mahinder, and she accepts. Mahinder becomes generous, gifting Dolly a car and a flat, but trouble erupts when Balli hides in the flat and lies about Mahinder’s intentions. Dolly flees, and a furious Mahinder almost kills Balli, only to be stopped by his friend and Munna. The revelation that Mahinder is married but unhappy deepens the stakes. Munna pledges to recover Dolly.

Back in Mumbai, Dolly arrives at the Dancing Star event with Munna’s support. She reveals to him that her motive is to prove something to her father and to fight for the chance to shine on the big stage. To help, Munna assembles a dance group from his circle, even admitting that he once pretended he couldn’t dance to coax Dolly into training with him. When Dolly asks him to partner for the competition, he agrees.

Mahinder then travels to Mumbai in pursuit of Dolly. Faced with what he calls betrayal, he captures Michael and gives Munna 24 hours to deliver Dolly or face the consequences for his father. The trio heads to Delhi, where Dolly confesses her love for Munna. They return to Mumbai, where Balli and his goons attempt trouble, but Munna overcomes them and pushes through to the final. A dramatic onstage performance culminates in a hard-won victory. Michael finally accepts his son’s dream, and Mahinder, moved by love, comes to terms with Munna and Dolly’s relationship, mending their rift.
