Moonwalk (2025) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

The news of the moon rock reaches Tarik and Azmat after a car accident near Chhapan’s collection point. Sensing a massive payday, Tarik decides to pilfer the rock and, in a moment of reckless bravado, tips off Maddy. The police are already watching the hidden stash, however, and Tarik is arrested while Maddy is later bailed by his mother Shahnaz. Determined to claim the treasure, Maddy tries to hijack the truck carrying the rock, only to discover that the stone has vanished.

The disappearance is finally explained when Azmat, who had been working with Tarik, is revealed to have taken the moon rock herself. She used Tarik as a decoy, slipping away with the prize while the police focus on the two rival thieves. Confronted with the fallout, Chandni is forced to choose a partner; despite the chaos, she backs Maddy, leaving Tarik bitterly abandoned.

The mothers settle old scores in the last act. Nadara, Tarik’s mother, records a confession from Shahnaz about the fake diamond heist, handing it to the police and securing Maddy’s arrest. With the police preoccupied, Tarik and Azmat escape in a car, discussing their future as a criminal duo, while Azmat proudly declares her intention to follow in her father’s footsteps.

The series ends on an absurd, unresolved note: Badan and Chhapan are left empty‑handed, the moon rock is gone, and a new generation of thieves—Tarik and Azmat—drives off, hinting at fresh vendettas. The climax ties together the show’s tangled web of family feuds, ludicrous bets, and fleeting dreams of wealth, leaving the audience with the lingering sense that in Rampur, every heist is just another step in an endless, chaotic dance.
