Feeling disappointed after her parents decline her request, Kamala plans to sneak out with Bruno to attend Avengercon. She finds her grandmother’s old bangle in the attic, which she later uses to activate her powers, marking her transformation from fan to emerging superhero.

At Avengercon, Kamala wears her Captain Marvel costume enhanced by the bangle, which triggers her hidden powers. She becomes distracted by the flashing cameras, accidentally discharging photon beams, which impresses the crowd but causes chaos when Zoe, unaware of her secret, is hurled into the air.

Kamran, a new acquaintance, intervenes to help her escape, introducing her to his mother, Najma, and revealing the existence of interdimensional threats, expanding her understanding of her powers' origins.

Flashbacks reveal Aisha’s life during the Partition of India in 1942, her connection to the bangle, and her escape from British soldiers. The story links her to her family and her eventual death fighting Najma, shedding light on the origins of the bangle and Kamala’s ancestral connection.
