Gloria Fuentes, a vibrant makeup artist from Los Angeles, embarks on an exciting journey to Tijuana, Mexico. Her goal is to support her best friend Suzu as she prepares for the prestigious Miss Tijuana pageant.

Upon arriving at the registration area for the pageant, Gloria and Suzu encounter a group of cynical women who challenge Gloria's confidence. Undeterred by their jabs, the friends decide to have a fun night out at a local club.

While enjoying a lively evening at the club, Suzu spots the Chief of Police, whom she needs to impress for the competition. Just as Gloria steps into the restroom, the club erupts into chaos when assassins from Las Estrellas infiltrate the venue and open fire.

In the chaos of the shooting, Gloria narrowly escapes with a head injury but soon discovers that Suzu has gone missing. Overwhelmed by fear and confusion, she sets out to find her friend amid the wreckage.

The next day, Gloria, shaken but determined, approaches the police to report Suzu's disappearance. However, her situation worsens when the officers unexpectedly turn her over to the Las Estrellas criminal organization.

At the Las Estrellas headquarters, Gloria meets Lino, the manipulative head of the crime syndicate. He offers to help her find Suzu, but only if she proves her loyalty by adhering to his demands.

Reluctantly, Gloria embarks on a covert mission to park a car at a specified location. This decision triggers disastrous events as the building housing DEA agents is attacked, forcing her to flee back to the Miss Tijuana pageant.

At the pageant, Gloria meets someone who poses as an American but is actually an undercover DEA agent. He blackmails her into using her phone to obtain intelligence on Las Estrellas, further entrenching her in danger.

Gloria is forced to carry illegal goods across the US-Mexico border. As she approaches the San Diego crossing, the pressure mounts, and she uses her cunning to slip through the checkpoint unnoticed.

Once in San Diego, Gloria must deliver critical information to Lino's operation. The situation quickly turns perilous as she realizes she is still trapped in the web of Las Estrellas and faces the DEA's impending arrival.

Gloria learns that her return to Las Estrellas has set her up for a confrontation with DEA agents. At a bullring, law enforcement converges, and Gloria realizes she has been a pawn in Lino's dangerous game all along.

When Lino appears, injured but threatening, Gloria faces a pivotal choice: to escape or to partner with him for vengeance and a chance to save Suzu. She chooses the latter, forming an alliance filled with risks.

In a twist of fate, Gloria discovers that Isabel, a woman caught in the gang’s grasp, has been working with the DEA. In a frantic attempt to keep ahead, Gloria swaps critical data between their phones, unwittingly sealing Isabel's doom.

During an intense interrogation, Gloria discovers that Jimmy, who she believed was innocuous, is actually a CIA operative. This shocking revelation ignites her resolve to turn the tides against Las Estrellas.

After striking a deal with Jimmy, Gloria helps the CIA while seeking to clear her and Suzu’s charges. The film concludes with Gloria reunited with her friend and her family, driving off into an uncertain future filled with hope and danger.
