Two years after a devastating blast in Afghanistan claimed her husband, Michelle Miller carries the weight of grief as a casualty surgeon at Mercy Hospital, raising her son Bobby while navigating the daily demands of the ER. The quiet of her routine is shattered when FBI agents McBride and Ellis arrest Ryan Quinn, a member of the Quinn Gang, a powerful Irish mob family whose crimes ripple across the United States.
