Mechamato Movie

Amato trains as an apprentice to his silat master, Tok Sah. He then teams up with his friend Pian on a school project involving the Cocoway-3000.

On a prison spaceship, alien robots are forced to fight in an arena, with a Power Sphere-wielding MechaBot held inside. Grakakus, a hunter of Power Spheres, schemes to seize the ship and capture MechaBot for his armour collection.

Pian informs his father, Dr. Aman, founder of the tech giant DeStar in Kota Hilir, about the prison spaceship—dubbed Comet Aman—crashing toward Earth.

As Amato passes the wreckage on his way home, he encounters MechaBot. Maskmana also obtains a sample of the debris during this moment.

Frightened, MechaBot provokes a fellow inmate, Troket, in a warning. During the ensuing chase, MechaBot discards Amato's Cocoway-3000.

Grakakus searches the crash debris for MechaBot but comes up empty. The failed sweep leaves MechaBot free and the pursuit unresolved.

Amato's father Aba discovers MechaBot, believing it to be Amato's project. MechaBot then demonstrates the ability to merge objects into his body and forms a bond with Amato.

MechaBot merges into a powered armor with Amato to face Troket's assault. On a suspension bridge, Amato and MechaBot battle while Maskmana watches, and Amato saves Mara, a wheelchair-bound girl.

Sah, in Maskmana form, sacrifices his right arm to save Amato from Grakakus and Trocket. The act demonstrates the personal cost of their ongoing war and strengthens Amato's resolve.

Aman repairs Mara's wheelchair damaged during the ambush. Pian and Mara inform him about the ambush and the rising threat, setting the stage for using MechaBot against Grakakus.

At DeStar, Amato discovers that Aman, Sah, and Mayor Andy have been behind Project Maskmana, taking turns to fight crime in secret identities. Sah explains that the Maskmana suit was built from the same hull material as the prison ship, giving it self-learning technology.

Grakakus upgrades his armor with a Power Sphere to pursue his plan. MechaBot unpairs from Amato to avoid posing as a threat, while Aman plans to use MechaBot to defeat Grakakus; Amato convinces Sah to rejoin and they fight. Together they defeat Grakakus and destroy his spaceship.

During the credits, a grown-up Amato recounts the events to his son BoBoiBoy and orders him a yellow Power Sphere. A green, box-headed alien intercepts the delivery, and Aba, Andy, Sah and Aman discover an alien operating a shop in Grakakus' ship ruins.
