The next morning, Jonathan saves Claire Timkin, the store's owner, from a fallen shop sign. Grateful for his bravery, Claire offers him a job, which opens new doors for Jonathan.

As Jonathan works at the store, he discovers that the mannequin he created is possessed by Emmy's spirit. She reveals her long existence as a muse for artists, only coming to life in Jonathan's presence.
