Omi Khurana lives in London, working as a pimp to high-class escorts and skimming money to fund his lavish lifestyle. After a string of failed schemes in real estate and the stock market, he owes 50,000 pounds to a dangerous UK gangster named Shanty. Shanty issues a violent ultimatum, insisting that Omi return with a solid plan to repay the debt.

Shanty threatens to shoot Omi unless he devises a credible plan to raise the money. He forces Omi to return to his Punjabi village with a concrete repayment plan. The objective is to tap the Khurana Dhaba and the family for funds.

Omi returns to Lalton Village, Punjab after a decade away, hoping to resolve his problems. He pretends to be a successful London lawyer to gain his family's trust and access to the Dhaba’s money. His real aim is to revive the Dhaba by recreating the family recipe and securing cash from Daarji’s legacy.

Daarji, now senile, dies on his last visit to the Dhaba. In his will, the old man leaves the Dhaba to Omi, angering Kehar Singh’s rival camp. Omi’s return sets the stage for a clash between old loyalties and family ties.

Harman, Omi’s childhood sweetheart, has become a doctor and is set to marry Jeet, though the match is uneasy. Harman resents Omi for abandoning her ten years ago. Jeet loves the widow of an army Jawan and has a daughter, which further complicates the engagement.

Omi tries to steal from the family locker and from Jeet’s tractor dealership, but finds nothing. The failed heist heightens the mistrust around his return and fuels suspicion among Hemraj and the others.

That night, Buaji returns with her entourage and spends time in Daarji’s room, bonding with Omi. She reveals she was keeping Daarji’s medicine chest, which included the digestion Churan. Omi discovers that the Churan can be combined with the cooking to trigger the secret recipe for Chicken Khurana.

Buaji’s Churan cigarette accidentally falls into a cauldron of chicken, revealing the long-hidden Khurana recipe. Realizing the recipe’s potential, Omi decides to restart the Dhaba instead of stealing from his family again.

Omi seeks Harman’s help to recreate the recipe, and they grow closer during the cooking sessions. Harman even kisses Omi, complicating their renewed bond and the family dynamics.

That same night, Omi confesses the truth to his family and is welcomed back with relief. Harman’s family moves toward an arranged union between Harman and Omi, which the couple agrees to.

Shanty arrives to collect the debt, but is confronted by Titu Mama, who reveals a long-forgotten alliance with Shanty from their asylum days. The confrontation softens, and Shanty ultimately forgives Omi, easing the debt crisis.

Jeet confesses his love for Shama Chatterjee's widow and his inability to marry Harman, forcing the family to reassess. Harman’s mother decides Harman should marry Omi, and the couple agrees to the arrangement, solidifying their alliance.

With the recipe recovered and family reconciled, the Khurana Dhaba is prepared to restart its operations. The plan gains momentum as trust among family members strengthens.

Harman and Omi step into a new chapter together as the Dhaba reopens. The family business returns to life and old wounds begin to heal as they move forward.
