Srinu, Abijeet Duddala is a college student who lives with his two sisters, Satya and Chinni. Their widowed mother, Amala Akkineni, gets a job transfer and asks her children to move to their uncle’s house in Hyderabad. She promises to return exactly one year from now, a pledge that provides a quiet thread of hope as the family transitions to a city divided into two distinct zones: the opulent Gold Phase and the more modest B Phase. The uncle’s home sits in B Phase, where life is warmer, humbler, and tightly knit, sharing joy and struggle in equal measure. In this neighborhood, Nagaraj Sudhakar Komakula leads a tight-knit circle, alongside the quick-witted Abhi and the earnest newcomer Lakshmi. There’s also Paddu, Srinu’s second cousin, played by Shagun Kaur, who forms a growing bond with Srinu.

Across the city, Gold Phase houses its own set of power players: hot-tempered Rakesh, the local gang leader, and his allies, including the ambitious Ajay and the sophisticated, yet conflicted Paru. Paru’s path intersects with both worlds, and her warmth gradually makes her sympathetic to the B Phase residents, notably stirring a nuanced tension with Suresh, Sanjeev, and the rest of the Gold Phase crew. The dynamic between zones becomes personal quickly when Srinu winds up in a skirmish with Gold Phase, illustrating how fragile boundaries between wealth and need can be.

A thread running through the stories of both zones is the quiet courage of young Chinni, who faces rejection when a prestigious private school refuses to admit her because she cannot speak English. Her grandfather rises to the challenge, pushing Chinni to learn and proving that determination can redraw the rules. In the meantime, Srinu finds himself drawn to Paddu, while Nagaraj tries to capitalize on every opportunity to secure a better future for Lakshmi, who is studying engineering and seeking her own path forward. The strands of romance, ambition, and family loyalty weave together as Maya madam, the B Phase beauty, endures harassment from an anonymous caller. When her cunning savviness meets the bravado of the B Phase group and the Gold Phase crew, a vivid confrontation ensues, testing loyalties and shaping destinies.

The city’s two worlds collide again when the Gold Phase crew attempts to spy on Maya madam through a camera toy drone and stumble upon Srinu’s sister-in-law, Ashok, and Sony—Srinu’s brother-in-law and future in-law—caught in a personal moment. This revelation triggers a clash that the police momentarily escalate, but it is quickly redirected by Srinu’s uncle, a lawyer who negotiates a delicate settlement. The aftermath of this incident ripples through the arc of relationships: Ashok and Sony wed simply at Ashok’s home, a small ceremony that marks a rare moment of unity amid the larger fray.

The wedding opens new doors: Paru attends the reception and reconnects with Abhi, which irkS Suresh. Ajay’s presence during the reception catches his eye for Lakshmi, offering her a chance at work and a new foothold, while Nagaraj begins to project a more hopeful future with Lakshmi by his side. This shifting balance also places Srinu and Paddu in a position to nurture their own romance, providing space for them to grow closer as Srinu moves into the outhouse with Paddu’s family to make room for the newlyweds. Yet the storm clouds gather when Rakesh vows retaliation for the perceived threats to his Gold Phase dominance.

In response to this escalating tension, Gold Phase attempts to seize the local lake—an essential resource that physically connects the two communities—so they can corner B Phase. Power and water supplies to B Phase are intermittently cut by Rakesh’s gang, a move that backfires by strengthening the bonds among B Phase families, who begin sharing what they have and supporting one another through the hardship. Amid this upheaval, Abhi’s dog wanders into Gold Phase and is ensnared by the rival gang, triggering a rescue mission that ends in a physical clash again. Paru intervenes, apologizes to Abhi, and even asks him to teach her magic for the Miss India prelims, deepening the emotional undercurrents that tie these characters together.

Meanwhile, Paddu’s mother and Paddu’s own future are tested by Srinu’s shifting focus toward his education and his sisters. Nagaraj’s pursuit of Lakshmi continues to squeeze the ties between him and his own father, who wants him to earn a living more earnestly. The tension between the two phases comes to a head at Lakshmi’s birthday, when Ajay proposes to Lakshmi and injures her in the process, sparking a broad clash. The confrontation leads to legal threats as Rakesh files an attempted murder case against Nagaraj, Srinu, and Abhi, while Maya madam accuses Ajay of attempted rape, pulling police intervention into the drama. A crafty settlement comes from the legal side of the family and the community’s sense of justice: the case is defused to keep everyone out of trouble, and life continues.

In the wake of these upheavals, the families discover fresh reasons to persevere. Satya’s struggles with school, and Chinni’s continued determination to succeed, bring the siblings closer to their mother’s illness. Amma’s health takes a dire turn when doctors reveal her cancer has worsened, but also that treatment could restore her health. The group chooses not to tell Amma the full extent of the danger until a later moment that will allow her to regain hope. Srinu, his uncle, Satya, Abhi, and Nagaraj rally around Amma, traveling to the hospital and returning with a determination to secure her treatment and a future in which the family can flourish.

Back home, Amma’s condition prompts a new wave of practical decisions. Nagaraj’s father issues a hard deadline for him to become self-sufficient, and Maya madam steps in once again to support Nagaraj, enabling him to start a cab service with the help of a loan and a vehicle fleet. Lakshmi’s continued encouragement and her generosity—along with a meaningful contribution of jewelry from her father to secure Nagaraj’s enterprise—helps him finally find a successful path. The bonds between B Phase and Gold Phase begin to feel less like rivalries and more like a shared story of resilience.

As the family navigates the personal storms, Chinni takes part in an English-speaking competition against a convent school rival who had denied her earlier admission. When asked to speak about her mother in English, she begins in English but breaks into Telugu in a moving reveal of how deeply she loves her mother, bringing judges and the audience to tears and earning her a place of pride. Amma, though frail, resumes treatment with renewed resolve and gratitude, and the family decides to stay together in Hyderabad, choosing to build a life that honors their shared experiences.

In the end, the friends find a tempered balance between their respective worlds. Rakesh and Srinu exchange a symbolic handshake that embodies a mutual recognition of how each phase has shaped them—and that wealth alone cannot guarantee happiness. Nagaraj’s father welcomes his son back, and Paru visits Abhi, who confesses a simple joy in seeing everyone else happy.
