An engineer is hired to design and supervise the building of an ambitious undersea tunnel linking Europe and the United States. As work progresses, powerful forces opposed to the project resort to sabotage, intimidation and murder to halt the venture. This French‑language version adapts the 1933 German film Der Tunnel.
