Tunnel Rats

A group of US Army soldiers trained in underground warfare arrives at a base camp hidden in the jungle of South Vietnam, ready to test their skills in a hostile environment. They spend the first day and night getting to know one another, sharing nerves, humor, and the uneasy bond that forms when lives hinge on trust. On the second morning, the unit dives into a dangerous mission: to scour the Viet Cong tunnel network beneath Cu Chi. Led by Lieutenant Vic Hollowborn [Michael Pare], supported by Platoon Sergeant Mike Heaney [Brad Schmidt], and Corporal Dan Green [Wilson Bethel], the squad—Privates Peter Harris [Mitch Eakins], Carl Johnson [Erik Eidem], Terence Verano [Rocky Marquette], Jonathon Porterson [Garikayi Mutambirwa], Dean Garraty [Adrian Collins], Samuel Graybridge [Brandon Fobbs], Jim Lidford [Nate Parker], and Bob Miller [Jeffrey Christopher Todd]—descends into the earth armed with only bayonets, pistols, grenades, and flashlights.

Beneath the surface, the tunnels reveal dangers far beyond a standard combat patrol. The two survivors witness the devastation wrought by the bombardment, the ruins of the base, and the uncertain fate of everyone else who vanished into the tunnels or the smoke above.
