Engineer MacAllan plans an undersea tunnel linking America and Europe, financed by American billionaires. Construction proves perilous and dangerous as MacAllan battles speculator Woolf, who embezzled the funds and resorts to sabotage. It was filmed in French as Le Tunnel (1933) and remade in England as Transatlantic Tunnel (1935).
