In present-day Los Angeles, Father Jacob, a pastor, discovers an ancient cache and dreams of using the fortune to build a youth center. He imagines transforming lives by funding the center with the gold. His plan sets in motion a perilous confrontation with an ancient evil.

Jacob banishes the Leprechaun by splashing him with holy water laced with four-leaf clovers. The ritual summons demonic hands that drag the creature underground. The victory costs Jacob his life as he succumbs to his injuries.
